On Tuesday, 4th September 2018, group of 22 students from my school, together with our teachers Mrs Anna Waszewska and Mrs Anna Dobrzyńska, went to Długopole Dolne for Euroweek. We went there by train. We started our trip at the train station in Legnica. Our journey was impressive- we saw wonderful landscapes. For some of us it was the first time travelling by train. When we arrived, we had some time to unpack and had supper.
In the evening, we met volunteers and student of other schools who also participated in Euroweek. Next day, we had first workshop. It was an energizer. We were having lots of fun: we were laughing, dancing and chatting. We had to speak only English, sometimes it was very hard. But we managed! Later on, we presented ourselves and what we expected from Euroweek. For the next days we did funny and fantastic workshops: we recorded short movies, prepared advertisement, posters, news, presented information about various countries: New Zealand, India, Thailand, Greece. We listened to our volunteers talking about their countries- India and Thailand. We saw Latin and India dance- it was fantastic! In the evenings we had parties and talent shows. On the 4th day, we had the leaving party and we got certificates. We were all sad because it was time to say goodbye to fantastic people but we promised to keep in touch.
On Saturday, 8th September 2018, we came back to Legnica. We were happy to see our families waiting for us. And… we are looking forward to going on the next Euroweek :) Dorota Sobuś
